Description
This elegant engagement ring features a round brilliant cut diamond prong set in white gold and surrounded by a diamond halo, with additional diamond accents on the band. It was created for a couple from Seattle, WA, who came into our Bellevue showroom to look at some sample pieces. After consulting with our team, the clients chose the design seen here, and we shared proofs of their custom piece with them online to ensure they were completely satisfied before moving into production.

Center Setting
The diamond at the center of this ring is a round brilliant cut, and it comes in at exactly one carat. It is prong set in 14k white gold, and the entire setting is surrounded by a squared halo of shared prong set diamonds. The subtle contrast between the shape of the diamond and that of the halo really helps the diamond stand out, and the light reflected up by the smaller stones only helps to intensify its sparkle as well. Criss-cross Shank
The band begins as a solid piece on the bottom, and almost immediately begins to thicken as it moves up. At about the three-quarter point, two pieces split off from each other leaving a u-shaped space in the middle. Diamond Engagement Rings
These continue up almost parallel to each other, increasing the space between them only slightly before curving abruptly back in to cross over each other about a quarter of the way from the top. From here, they move back out again, eventually meeting the center setting directly below the prongs holding the main diamond.
Diamond Accents
Shared prong set diamonds also cover both strands of the split shank to just below the half-way point, and these tie in nicely with those in the halo at the top. The choice of a shared prong setting for all accent stones in this piece helps to unite the various areas, and it also brings some vintage flair to the ring.

Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.

- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
