At the center of this ring, a 0.75 carat Ideal Square diamond is nestled between two yellow gold bars that rise straight up from the band below. These create a bar setting, holding the diamond securely while leaving two sides open to allow in plenty of light. The straight lines of the setting also accentuate the elegant cut of the stone, and the diamond’s brilliant white appearance is only intensified by the contrast with the warmer tones of the metal. Emerald Accents
On either side of the main stone, three pairs of round emeralds are bar set running down the shank shoulders. The way their perfectly round shape contrasts with the straight lines of the setting adds another layer of complexity to the design, and their beautiful green color makes for a stunning complement to the elegant diamond at the top. Band Design
Bars of yellow gold separate each pair of emeralds, and the two in the middle are somewhat narrower than those at the top and bottom. The width of these bars was a detail the client wanted to ensure was just right, and we made several small adjustments to our models based on his feedback until he was satisfied that they matched his vision.
Below the last set of emeralds, the band begins to taper down, reaching its narrowest point at the very bottom. This allows for a comfortable fit while leaving plenty of space above to accommodate the size of the stones on top.
