Three-stone Setting
The center diamond in this ring is round brilliant cut and 1.50 carats. It is held in place by six rose gold prongs that frame it beautifully and also complement its shape. To complete the three-stone setting, pear-shaped garnets sit on either side of and slightly below the center diamond. Diamond Engagement Rings
These accent stones have a rich, brownish color that contrasts wonderfully with the brilliant white of the diamond, and also goes well with the warm color of the rose gold that makes up the band. Like the diamond, the garnets are prong-set, and they are one of the details that the client adjusted from the original design, as it included diamonds in the side positions. Custom Filigree
Below the main diamond on both ring fronts is a lovely custom filigree in the shape of a butterfly. This was also a special design detail for the client since it was something his fiancee-to-be specifically wanted her ring to include. In the original inspiration piece the client shared with us, this filigree was done in a different color metal from the rest of the ring, but he chose to keep the entire piece rose gold, and this makes for a beautiful and subtle effect.
