Whether you’re interested in this ring on its own, or you’d like to customize it as part of a complete wedding set, our team is ready to help. Once you’ve told us about the style and features you have in mind, we’ll create a CAD rendering of what we propose to make, and you can request any revisions you’d like until you’re sure we’ve truly captured your vision.
Center Setting
The centerpiece of this design is a one carat cushion cut diamond, and it’s bezel set in palladium. Surrounding the larger diamond is a halo of small, round bright cut set diamonds which follows the contours of the stone exactly, giving it a generally square shape with rounded corners.
The diamonds in the halo are lined with milgrain beading, which provides a delicate frame and a hint of vintage flair. The sides of the halo are accented with milgrain as well, and this is in a pattern that complements the hand engraving on the shank below. Diamond Engagement Rings
Diamond and Milgrain Accents
Round bright cut set diamonds run down the shank shoulders, beginning right up against the side of the halo and ending at the mid-point on the band. These are accented with milgrain just like the diamonds in the halo, and together these help to create a link between the two sections of the ring. Vintage Engagement Rings
Custom Hand Engraving
From the spot where the diamonds on the band stop down to the three-quarter point, a beautiful hand-engraved scroll pattern covers the top of the shank. This is also present on the ring fronts, running from the same spot at the bottom all the way up to the center setting. Milgrain frames this as well, and it continues across the narrow bridge piece below the main diamond to give the piece a finished and balanced feel.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
