Ideal Square Diamond
The ldeal Square Diamond is cut to the most exacting of ideal standards which have been established to be ideal in terms of proportion, polish and symmetry. And it’s the only diamond that displays the distinctive hearts and arrows pattern when viewed straight on from the top or bottom. It takes a good deal more time to produce an Ideal cut, but its brilliance is unmatched, as it is shaped to reflect back out almost all of the light that it takes in. Diamond Engagement Rings
The diamond in this ring is a 1.59 carat Ideal square, and it’s displayed beautifully in a four prong platinum setting. Its angular shape is complemented perfectly by the shape of the band, which gradually widens to meet the center setting at the corners of the diamond, but which also incorporates smoother curves and softer lines to help the main stone stand out.
Accent Stones and Band Design
On each side of the center diamond is a single channel set princess cut ruby. These mirror the square shape of the main stone, but their rich red color introduces a stunning contrast that really emphasizes the brilliant white of the diamond. These rubies are suspended between the two outer strands of the split shank, and additional round bright cut set rubies, alternating with round bright cut set diamonds, run in a line right under the center setting on a third strand.
The outer strands of the shank also hold a row of bright cut set diamonds, and all three strands are lined with milgrain beading. And for a little bit of surprise sparkle, there is a row of four bright cut set diamonds on each ring front just below the center diamond. Design Your Own Engagement Ring

Joseph Jewelry
Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
