This tool allowed him to select the types of individual features that appealed to him, and it informed the discussion we had with him following his initial submission. We used all of the information he provided to develop a unique design within his desired budget, and we used the online workroom we set up to manage the project to share CAD renderings of the piece as we proposed to make it.
Thanks to these technological tools, he was able to examine and approve this custom design without ever visiting our Bellevue, WA showroom personally, and he was very happy with the way the finished piece turned out.
Center Diamond and Halo
In the center of this ring, a round brilliant cut diamond is held in place by four yellow gold double prongs that rise up from within the surrounding halo. This halo is made up of small bright cut set diamonds set in white gold, and the perfect circle it forms around the center setting helps accentuate the stone’s perfect shape. Halo Engagement Rings
Two-tone Band and Diamond Accents
The band itself is composed of two strands, with one made of 14k white gold and the other 14k yellow gold. This two-tone look is echoed in the use of both types of gold in the center setting, and it helps highlight the criss-cross nature of the band design. The two strands cross over each other repeatedly all the way around the ring, creating a scalloped margin for the band itself. Unique Engagement Rings
Bright cut set diamonds run along the top of both strands of the shank, adding unparalleled sparkle and glamorous flair to the design. These tie in nicely with the diamonds in the halo, and they add another layer of contrast with the yellow gold that makes up half of the band itself.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
