Diamond And Ruby Halo Engagement Ring
Item #105160 $7,991 Price does not include center stoneEngagement Ring Description
Center and Accent Diamonds
The showstopping center of this piece is a 1.40 carat round brilliant cut diamond. It is surrounded by an inner halo of diamonds and held in place by four prongs. Outside of the halo area, there is a marquise diamond on either side of the halo. The weight of just these two accent stones totals .36 carats, and they add a three stone look to a ring that would otherwise be only classified as halo. Diamond Engagement Rings
Continuing down the shank of the ring from the marquise diamonds, there are tiny melee diamonds set to add extra sparkle. Underneath the whole upper area, there is intricate filigree in a swirl pattern that ties the whole design together.
Ruby Outer Halo
Outside the diamond halo, there is an outward-facing halo of rubies. The total carat weight of these rubies equals .36 carats. The inspiration for this colorful halo comes from one of our previous designs that had a similar look with royal blue sapphires. The gemstones are facing outward, so that from the top view, they form the thinnest frame around the center features, but their vibrant color is distinctly viewed from the side. Halo Engagement Rings
Customization Options
There are many ways to make this piece your own. You could start by choosing a different gem for the outer halo; a possibility would be a birthstone or other precious gemstone. Another option would be to forego the side marquise diamonds and continue the melee diamonds up the shoulders; this would change the look entirely, but add an element of delicacy.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
