This unique solitaire engagement ring features a cathedral shank with a round brilliant diamond and a leaf design on both fronts of the ring. It was created for a client from Seattle, WA, who wanted to create a simple, elegant solitaire ring while still incorporating organic elements.

Center Diamond
The center of this ring is a 1 carat round brilliant diamond. It is held in place by four traditional prongs, evenly placed on four corners. The cathedral begins just below the diamond on two opposing sides and gracefully flows downward to meet with the inside lining of the band. This lining is there to provide extra stability and structural support for the whole piece. Diamond Engagement Rings
Organic Design
On each front of the ring, there is a peekaboo leaf design. It was extremely important to the client that this detailing would only be seen from the sides and not from the top of the ring so that the center diamond could stand out without distraction. Solitaire Engagement Rings
This ring could be customized in many different ways. We could add diamonds down the shank, or go with a princess cut diamond. The organic element could also be modified to hold any design if you have a specific flower or species of leaf you'd like to incorporate.

Design and estimate

3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
