When you’re ready to begin the custom design process, you can reach out to us online, or you can stop by our Bellevue, WA showroom personally. Our experienced designers will discuss your style and feature preferences, and we’ll show you some sample pieces to make sure we have a clear idea of what you’re after. We’ll then put together a CAD model of your design for you to review, and we won’t cast anything in metal until you’re absolutely sure every detail is perfect. Design Your Own Engagement Ring
Center Setting
The centerpiece of this ring is a one carat round brilliant cut diamond, and it’s tension set between bars that extend from each side of the 18k white gold cathedral shank. These pieces curve slightly to cradle the sides of the diamond, while leaving the view of the stone completely unobstructed from the ring fronts. This serves to keep the diamond well protected, as its crown sits just above the level of the metal holding it in place, while also allowing it to display its beauty in full force. Diamond Accents and Band Design
This band is narrowest at the bottom, widening gently as it moves up the side. It pauses its taper in the middle of each side, maintaining the same width from just below the mid-point to just above, and then resumes agin, broadening to transition into the sides of the main setting. Unique Engagement Rings Bellevue
A line of channel set princess cut diamonds begins at about the mid-point as well, and this runs all the way up to just below the top of the band on each side. The way these diamonds sit flush with each other creates the sense of a solid diamond surface inlaid into the band, and its straight, clean lines contrast subtly with the elegant curves that make up the rest of the design.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
