We used the information he provided to come up with an original design, which he then adjusted slightly and approved so that we could move the piece into production. Thanks to the high-tech tools we have at our disposal and the skills of our expert design team, we accomplished all of this without him ever visiting our Bellevue, WA showroom in person. Three-stone Setting
The main stone in this ring is a 0.35 carat round brilliant cut diamond that’s prong set in 14k white gold. It’s the centerpiece of a three-stone setting that also includes two round blue sapphires that are set next to and slightly lower than the diamond.
The prongs holding all three of these gems rise up from the lower part of the cathedral shank, crossing over each other as they move upward to meet the stones. This creates a lovely criss-cross pattern on the fronts of the ring and reinforces the classical overtones of the piece. Three Stone Engagement Rings
Accent Diamonds
Round bright cut set diamonds run down the shank shoulders to just about the mid-point on the band. These bring an added sparkle to the design, and the choice of setting also contributes to the classical theme. Diamond Engagement Rings
Custom Filigree
As a finishing touch, a delicate scroll filigree fills the space below the shoulders of the cathedral shank. This ties in nicely with the criss-cross design of the center setting, and it contributes to the overall balance of the ring. Because this filigree is hand-made as well, it can be customized within the limits of the space available, allowing you to add a design of personal significance to your piece.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
