Platinum Custom Pear And Marquise Diamond Engagement Ring
Item #104172 $6,019 Price does not include center stoneEngagement Ring Description
Because he lived too far away to visit our Bellevue, WA or Seattle, WA showroom personally, we worked through the entire custom design process through the online workroom we set up to manage his project. It this way, we were able to share concept sketches and CAD models, and to discuss the precise combination of gemstones he wanted to use in the ring.
Center Diamond
At the top of this ring, a one-carat marquise cut diamond is held in a six-prong setting made of 14k rose gold. The prongs are split into groups, so that three are clustered close to one corner of the stone and the remaining three take up the same positions at the other end. The diamond is oriented to sit lengthwise across the band, an arrangement that helps to highlight the stone’s elegant shape. Diamond Engagement Rings
Diamond Accents
On either side of the marquise diamond, a pear-shaped diamond is prong set with its rounded end up against the larger stone and its point angling downward towards the band. Two small round diamonds are prong set on both sides of each pear-shaped diamond, and this arrangement gives the entire center a star-like appearance. Rose Gold Engagement Rings
Three round diamonds are shared prong set along each shank shoulder, and these add a glamorous sparkle to the piece while also tying in nicely with the stones in the main setting. The warm tones of the rose gold also create a lovely contrast with the diamonds while working to enhance the vintage overtones of the design as well.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
