The diamond at the center of this ring is 2.01 carats and princess cut. It’s channel set in 14k white gold, which helps to protect this gorgeous stone while also contributing to the sleek, contemporary feel of the design. They were concerned with the appearance of the diamond, of course, and they also had a particular size range they wanted to stay within, and we were able to satisfy all of their requirements with this stunning stone. Baguette Diamond Accents
Eight baguette diamonds are channel set down each shank shoulder, starting just below the main setting and ending close to the mid-point on the band. These taper in size slightly as they move away from the main setting to match the contours of the band, and their size and shape make them the perfect complement to the diamond at the top.
These baguette accents total just under one carat all together, which was a detail that was important to the clients as well. The channel setting is in keeping with the modern design elements found elsewhere in the ring, and the clean lines it creates perfectly mirror the contours of both the main setting and the slightly tapered band.
