Platinum Custom Sandblasted Diamond Engagement Ring
Item #103379 $5,411 Price does not include center stoneEngagement Ring Description
Center Diamond
The main diamond in this ring is a 1.03 carat round brilliant cut stone. It was provided by the client, and it’s held in a four-prong setting made from 18k yellow gold. The prongs in the setting are wide and flat, meeting the stone at the compass positions and contrasting nicely with the diamond’s perfect curves.
Diamond and Milgrain Accents
On each shank shoulder, a single baguette diamond is bezel set inline with the band, and somewhat below this, a round diamond is also bezel set. The size and shape of these accents is mirrored in the wedding bands that complete the set, and that detail helps to unite all three pieces.
Below the main setting, a ring of bright cut set diamonds runs all the way around the middle of the main diamond, bringing a lovely surprise sparkle to the ring fronts. Tucked on either side of the space directly below the main setting, two round diamonds are bezel set on each side. All of the accent diamonds in this piece are lined with milgrain beading, and this detail is consistent across all three rings in the set as well. Matching Wedding Sets
Customizing Your Piece
The inspiration piece the client chose as a starting point featured custom hand engraving on the top and fronts of the band below where the diamond accents stop. She chose to do without this, however, and she asked for advice on the type of finish that would give her a fine matte surface. We recommended the sandblasted finish, as the intricate detailing, particularly on her matching wedding bands, would make it difficult to apply a brushed finish evenly.

Joseph Jewelry
Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
