Platinum Custom Three Stone Blue Sapphire And Diamond Hand Engraved Engagement Ring
Item #103488Engagement Ring Description
After clarifying a few details with him, we developed some concept sketches to make sure we were all on the same page. From there, we built a model in CAD of the ring we proposed to make, and he also visited our Bellevue, WA showroom to see a wax model of this ring before giving his approval to move things into production.
Center Setting
The dazzling 0.90 carat round brilliant cut diamond at the top of this ring is held in place by three palladium white gold prongs that emerge from the twisted floral shank below. One prong meets the diamond in the middle on the bottom, while the other two sit on either side at the top. This allows the center setting to flow smoothly out of the lower portion of the ring, further enhancing the organic themes of the band design.
Blue Sapphires
On either side of the center, a pear shaped blue sapphire is prong set with its rounded end up agains the side of the larger diamond. These bring a burst of color to the ring, and they’re tucked perfectly in the space between the main portion of the band as it curves of to transition into the center setting and the leaves that split off from it. The combination of the leaves and the striking color of the sapphires takes the floral theme a step farther, and it balances the design out nicely as well. Blue Sapphire Engagement Rings
Custom Hand Engraving
Both ring fronts are covered by a delicate scroll-style hand engraving nearly all the way down to the bottom. This adds to the classical feel of the ring, and it’s the kind of detail that our experts add by hand as the final step in the production process, allowing them to customize it a great deal to reflect a pattern or symbol with special significance to you. Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
