Princess Cut Diamond Engagement Ring
Item #195 $8,390 Price does not include center stoneEngagement Ring Description
Center Diamond
The main gemstone in this ring is a two carat round brilliant cut diamond, and it’s cradled securely by four white gold claw prongs that curl delicately up over the edges of its girdle. The prongs emerge from a criss-cross design directly below the center setting, and this detail brings an elegant flair to the piece while also complementing the perfect shape of the center stone nicely. Band Design and Diamond Accents
The strands that ultimately form the prongs of the main setting split off from the fronts of the shank just as a strand on the top angles upward to meet the side of the center diamond in line with the rest of the band. This provides added stability to the center setting, and it also enhances the smooth flow of the band design.
The top surface of the shank shoulders down to just above the mid-point on both sides are lined with shared prong set princess cut diamonds, while the same portion of the band on the fronts holds round bright cut set diamonds nearly all the way up to the tips of the prongs. These accent diamonds are all lined with milgrain beading for a hint of vintage flair in this otherwise contemporary design. Vintage Engagement Rings Seattle
Custom Wedding Sets
Whether you’d like to customize this ring as part of a complete wedding set or on its own, you can begin the process by stopping by our Bellevue, WA showroom in person or by reaching out to our team online. One of the advantages of having both rings in your wedding set custom made at the same time is that you can integrate matching features into both pieces. Making these two rings together also allows us to ensure they line up perfectly, and we can modify the engagement ring design if necessary to accommodate the type of wedding band you prefer.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
