Vintage-inspired Diamond Halo Engagement Ring
Item #103058 $6,143 Price does not include center stoneEngagement Ring Description
Center Setting
The centerpiece of this ring is a one carat round brilliant cut diamond, and it sits atop the cathedral shank in a four prong setting made from 18k white gold. The prongs meet the girdle of the diamond and extend only slightly beyond that point, allowing the stone itself to take center stage. Diamond Engagement Rings
Surrounding this larger diamond is a modified halo of bright cut set diamonds separated into pairs and enclosed in their own half-circle shaped sections. These sections line up, with their inner margin scalloped and their outer margin a strait line. They also angle downward, beginning the transition to the band below. Vintage Engagement Rings
Band Design and Diamond Accents
The band of this ring is narrowest at the bottom, widening quickly as it moves up the sides. Diamond and milgrain accents begin at about the mid-point on each side, with bright cut set diamonds running in three lines upwards and tapering to fill the available space as they do so.
The middle line of diamonds on each side stops after three stones, and space opens up above it, with a diamond shaped section higher up holding a larger bright cut set accent diamond. Two bezel set diamonds sit next to this larger accent, while the lines of bright cut set stones on either side continue up to meet the sides of the center setting. All of these diamonds are lined with milgrain beading as well for some added vintage flair.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
