This ring is built around a stunning 19.90 carat green tourmaline, which is cradled beautifully by 12 18k yellow gold prongs. It sits in the center of a split prong set diamond halo that mirrors the contours of its slightly angular oval shape beautifully. The halo also adds wonderful contrast to the design, and the extra light the diamonds reflect back up onto the tourmaline help to increase its beautiful shine.
Below the center setting, an ornate basket made of overlapping strands of curved yellow gold filigree surrounds the lower part of the tourmaline and aids in the transition to the shank.
