This piece is an excellent example of the way this designer combines traditional elements in new and interesting ways to produce unique contemporary styles. Diamond Center
At the top of this ring, a 0.08 carat round diamond is bezel set in 14k white gold. The metal lines an indentation in the top of the Tahitian pearl, and the diamond sits at the lowest point of that indentation. This positioning allows the metal to reflect the dazzling sparkle of the diamond, helping to increase its brilliance. Fashion Rings
Carved Pearl and Turquoise
Below the diamond, the surface of the pearl is carved in a vaguely organic pattern, with teardrop-shaped openings regularly spaced around the sides. These are filled with turquoise, and the dramatic color contrast this presents adds a dynamic and contemporary flair to the design.
The turquoise also works to enhance the organic sensibilities of the piece, while the white gold band ties in perfectly with the white gold inlay at the top of the pearl, helping to unite both areas of the piece. The band is flat, narrow and polished, with a slight thickening on the bottom half that forms a hint of a Euroshank design. That cements the contemporary style of the piece, and it also helps to balance out the large center setting, making it less likely for the ring to spin on the finger when worn.

Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
