London Blue Topaz Solitaire
The only gemstone in this ring is a 0.75 carat London blue topaz that's emerald cut and bezel set in 14k rose gold. This particular type of topaz is known for its rich blue-green color, and this stone is a prime example of that. The bezel setting frames it perfectly, highlighting the precise lines of the cut, while the proximity of the warm tones of the rose gold adds a lovely contrast with the color of the topaz.
Because there is only one gemstone in this ring, it's considered a solitaire design. This is a classical look, and the rose gold adds to those overtones in the ring as well. The band that the topaz is perched on is narrow, with all outer surfaces flat and a comfort fit inside. Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
