Center Spinel and Halo
At the center of this ring is a large, round green spinel, and its deep, rich color is perfectly complemented by the 14k yellow gold it’s set in. The main setting consists of four rounded prongs that rise up from the halo below, cradling the spinal and highlighting its perfect shape.
In the halo, 19 small, round diamonds are bright cut set in a perfect circle that follows the contours of the larger stone exactly. These add a lovely sparkle, and the additional light they reflect up onto the spinel helps to intensify its beauty as well. Fashion Rings
Diamond and Filigree Accents
Just past the perimeter of the halo, two larger diamonds are tension set on the shank shoulders, with one on either side of the center. These total 0.39 carats combined, and they provide the perfect balance to complete the main setting.
As a finishing touch, a custom filigree scroll fills the space directly below the center spinal and halo. It features a tighter coil on each side, and these are connected to each other by a draped bridge piece with lovely, elegant lines. Put together, this all adds up to a gorgeous, classically-inspired design, and it offers many options if you want to use it as the basis for your own special ring.

3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
