White Gold Shank
The ring is rendered in white gold, which was chosen for its color and sheen as well as its malleability. The intricacy of the design shows through nicely with this metal, and the contrasting finish helps emphasize these details as well. After viewing several different models, the client settled on this material as the one best able to achieve the look he wanted.
Yellow Gold and Black Diamonds
The pattern of scales in this ring works well on its own, but the addition of yellow gold beading and black diamonds really take the design to the next level. The diamonds are pave set into one diagonal row of scales, and the yellow gold accents surrounding them help them stand out from the antiquated black grooves on the other scales.

3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
