This spectacular ladies’ fashion ring features a large cabochon cut ruby bezel set at the top of a platinum band in the shape of a snake, accented by channel and pave set white diamonds, milgrain, and other organic elements. Center Ruby
The centerpiece of this ring is a two carat cabochon cut ruby that’s bezel set in platinum. The rich color of the ruby is enhanced by the beautiful cut, which forms it into a smooth dome rising up from the top of the band. It contrasts beautifully with the brilliant white of the platinum surrounding it, as well all with the diamond accents lining the band, and it adds fantastic depth to the piece as a whole.
Band Design and Diamond Accents
The band is flat and straight across the bottom, but it dramatically twists to the right on each side so that the head of the snake sticks out on one side of the center setting, and the tail extends in the opposite direction on the other. This gives the impression that the snake is actually coiled around the finger of the wearer, a detail which contributes significantly to the overall dramatic display of the design. Channel set round diamonds run up the back of the snake on both the head and the tail sections, and these are balanced out by bright cut set diamonds running along each side on the same parts of the band. The head of the snake is pave set with small round diamonds for a truly glamorous display, and similar stones are also bright cut set in the petals of the flower on one side of the center. Colored Diamonds
The eyes of the snake are made up of two black diamonds prong set on the head, and a single blue irradiated diamond forms the center of the flower. These small details contribute significantly to the overall appearance of the piece, providing a depth and precision to the design that helps it all come together.

3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
