14k White Gold And Platinum Custom Men's Brushed Two-tone Band
Item #101171 $7,115Men's Wedding Band Description
Two-tone Band
This piece is divided into three parts, with the center section made of unplated 14k white gold, and the sides plated. That combination creates a lovely contrast between the sliver of the outside and the champagne color on the inside. The sections are separated definitively by deep, stylized grooves that are silver like the outer bands but share the same brushed finish as the raised portions of the piece.
Groove Design
The grooves that divide the bands of the ring are asymmetrical, with a straight edge on the inside where they border the unplated section, and almost a curved edge on the outside. The curves come to a point at the corners of the squared band, which is the widest point of the grooves. This arrangement complements the squared shape of the band nicely, and it adds an extra layer of complexity to the design as well.
Diamond Accent
There is a single round diamond gypsy set off to the side on the top of the ring. The type of setting used allows it to sit flush with the band, and it contrasts nicely with the unplated white gold so that the diamond is clearly visible without dominating the design.
Working a gemstone into a men’s ring like this is a good way to create a link with the women’s bands that make up the rest of the wedding set. And even if you don’t want the gemstone on the outside, you can still include one flush set on the inside of the band as a special detail only you and your partner know about.
Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
