If you’re interested in customizing this piece, our team will work closely with you every step of the way, either online or in person in our Bellevue, WA showroom. Once we have a clear idea of what you're after, we’ll develop a CAD model of the piece as we propose to make it. You can request as many modifications to this model as you like until you’re totally satisfied it matches your vision, and only then will we turn your project over to our expert artisans to begin production. Band Design
This ring is made of 18k white gold, and it’s gently squared, with corners that extend out to increase the thickness of the band while the inner margin remains round. The sides are still slightly curved as well, adding a gracefulness to the overall angular shape. Men’s Custom Wedding Bands
The band is also beveled at the corners, and this creates an even more complex surface, with the flat surface of the sides of the square tapering to a point as they approach each corner. The high polish finish helps highlight the differently-angled surfaces, and the contours of the band follow a graceful overall pattern that gives the ring a subtle contemporary flair.
Customization Options
Using a different color metal for the band is one way to begin the customization process. Rose or yellow gold would both bring some more classical overtones to the design, and this can be a good option if your partner’s rings are made from one of these other metals as well. Matching Wedding Sets
There are some alternative finish options you might want to consider too, and these include brushed and sandblasted finishes, both of which create a softer matte surface. Using contrasting finishes is something to consider as well, as these can help highlight the subtle design elements present in the ring.
You may also want to think about incorporating a small gemstone, either on the outside or inside of the band. This can tie in nicely with the women’s rings that complete the set, and especially if you flush set a small stone on the inside of the band, it creates a special link that only you and your partner know about.

3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
