The row of diamonds in this ring divides it into two unequal sections, with a narrower rail on one side and the wider main portion of the band on the other. Width is not the only difference between these sections, however, as the rail is polished, while the band is hammered and sandblasted.
These contrasting textures add a wonderful complexity to the design, and they also help highlight the differences between the two areas. The hammered section is more organic, and the sandblasted finish on top gives it a softer, matte look.
