Contrasting Finishes
The main portion of this ring is the center portion made from black tungsten, and it features a brushed finish all the way around. On the outer edges, rose tungsten rails border this middle strip, and these are polished to a high shine. The contrasting finishes both highlight the separation of the two sections and enhance their individual beauty.
The rose rails are notched regularly as they continue around the band, giving the ring a slightly more complicated profile and further highlighting the difference between the two sections of the piece. These notches can be spaced differently, of course, if you have a different vision for the pattern in the ring. Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
