The band of this ring is 5mm wide, and its top surface is divided into two equal sections by the narrow groove that runs down the middle and continues all the way around the band. The groove itself, as well as one of the side sections, is made from 14k white gold, while the other section is 14k yellow gold. Contrasting Finishes
The top of the band, including the groove, is brushed to produce a soft matte surface. The fronts of the ring are polished, however, and the contrast between these two types of finishes gives the design one more layer of subtle complexity.
