Platinum Custom Brushed Men's Wedding Band
Item #103280 $7,114Men's Wedding Band Description
Band Design
The top surface of this ring is domed, giving it a softly-rounded appearance with a slope that stops just short of the top of the finger. This leaves a narrow, flat area on each ring front, giving the ring slightly more heft and height.
The band is 7mm wide all the way around, which is right in the middle of the normal range for a men’s wedding ring. You may want to adjust this, however, depending on your personal preference and what width is most comfortable for you. The best way to determine this is to try on some rings of varying widths, and you can do this in our showroom or at your local jewelry store. Men’s Custom Wedding Bands
Contrasting Finishes
The entire top of the ring is brushed, creating a soft, matte surface that highlights the lovely color of the palladium the piece is made from. The ring fronts are polished, however, and the subtle contrast this creates serves to perfectly highlight the separation of these two sections.
Customization Options
Experimenting with different finish combinations is one quick way to begin the custom design process for a ring like this. For instance, you could decide to go with a high polish all the way around the band for a more classical look, or you could opt for a sandblasted finish on top rather than the brushed.
Switching to a different type of metal is another option to consider, and both rose and yellow gold would introduce more classical overtones as well. You may want to choose your metal based on what is used in the women’s rings that make up the rest of your wedding set as well. Adding custom hand engraving is an option, and even including a small, flush-set gemstone can be a good way to integrate an element of personal significance without it taking over the design.
Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
