Channel Set Diamonds
There are 22 diamonds in this ring, all of which are princess cut and channel set in a line across the top half of the piece. The diamonds take up slightly less than one third of the total top surface of the ring, and their square shape allows them to sit flush with each other, as well as with the margins of the channel, producing the appearance of a solid line of diamonds.
Band Design and Customization Options
The band itself is made from 18k white gold, and it’s 7mm wide all the way around. The top is flat and smooth, with its surface broken only by the channel of diamonds along the top, and it features a polished finish that helps enhance the sparkle of the diamonds even further.
The width of the the band is something you may want to consider adjusting as you begin the custom design process yourself. The 7mm that this band measures is right in the middle of the normal range for a men’s ring, but you could go down to 6mm or even up to 9mm depending on what’s most comfortable for you and the look you like.
If you’re not sure what width you prefer, the best thing to do is to try on some different pieces, either in our Bellevue, WA showroom or in your local jewelry store. If you do want to make the band wider, you can then determine whether to keep the diamonds the same size or to increase them proportionally as well, each of which would produce a slightly different look.
