This stylish men’s wedding ring features a two-tone band made up of palladium and yellow gold, with a single diamond accent and custom engraving on the fronts. It was created for a client from Seattle, WA who wanted us to create a unique ring for her husband-to-be.

To do this, we took the inspiration images she provided and combined features from each to build this original design. We then added the custom engraving she requested, and both she and her fiancee were very pleased with the result.
Metal Combinations and Finish Options
Two-tone bands are a popular choice for a number of reasons, and the combination of metals seen here gives the ring a bit of a classical flair. It also highlights the difference in finishes between the two portions of the ring, as the palladium is brushed and the yellow gold shines with a high polish.
If you like this design but want to adjust it a bit to make it better suit your personal style, one option would be to use a different combination of metals. For instance, you could substitute rose gold for one or the other of the palladium or yellow gold portions, either of which would substantially impact the appearance of the ring while still keeping the basic design intact.
You could also adjust the types of finishes used, depending on the particular type of look you’re going for. A high-polish finish on the entire piece would make for a sleek, modern look, while extending the brushed finish across both portions of the ring could add to the antique feel of the piece.
Engraving
Our client took advantage of custom engraving to add some items of special significance to the ring. They had a date inscribed in Roman numerals on the yellow gold front of the band, and they also requested a custom inscription on the inside. We can inscribe just about anything you’d like in a wide variety of fonts, making this a great option for personalizing your piece.

A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.

- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
