Custom Two-tone Dual Finish Unisex Band
Item #999Men's Wedding Band Description
Two-tone Band Design
This ring is 8mm wide, with a base of 18k white gold. The middle section, however, consists of an 18k yellow gold inlay that covers the vast majority of the top surface of the ring. This top surface is slightly domed, giving the ring a classical feel from the start, and the narrow white gold rails on either side continue on this general trajectory down towards the finger.
Contrasting Finishes
The contrast between the two metals is highlighted by the difference in the finishes applied to the separate sections of the ring as well. Both the white and yellow gold are polished, but the yellow gold also received a hammered finish that gives it a somewhat organic and indented surface. This brings out the rich colors of the yellow gold, and it gives the ring a more classical feel as well. Men's Custom Wedding Bands
Customization Options
One good place to start when you’re developing a custom design for yourself is the width you'd like the band to have. At 8mm, this ring is on the wide side for a men’s wedding ring, and so it can be narrowed quite a bit depending on your personal preference. If you’re not sure how wide you’d like it to be, the best thing to do is to try on some rings of varying widths to see what's most comfortable.
You can also adjust the proportions of the various sections relative to each other if you prefer, and of course, you can use a different combination of metals. You could even switch to rose gold for the rails and white gold for the center, or you could go with all one metal and use the contrasting finishes alone to highlight the separation between the sections.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
