Black Diamond Center
The centerpiece of this design is a 0.39 carat round black diamond. The bezel setting highlights the large stone’s perfect shape, and the halo of white diamonds that surrounds it follows its contours exactly. Halo Engagement Rings
Diamond Halo
There are 18 small white diamonds split prong set in a halo surrounding the center stone. They total 0.04 carats combined, and they add a burst of brilliant white to bring another layer of contrast to this already rich design. Their small size allows them to stand out without overshadowing the center stone, and the choice of the split prong setting lends a classical elegance to the piece as well. Pendants
The chain connects to the sides of the halo at the 10 o’clock and 2 o’clock positions through small loops of metal that extend directly outwards. This maintains the position of the pendant in one spot on the chain, and it eliminates the need for a bale, keeping the focus solely on the pendant itself.

3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
