Pendant Design and Filigree
The outline of this pendant features a generally square shape with rounded corners, interrupted along each side by pointed extensions that emerge at the compass positions. This perfectly complements the ornate interior, which is made up of elegant curls of filigree and other decorative shapes. There is also plenty of open space within the body of the pendant, and this contributes to its elegance as well. Pendants
Diamond and Milgrain Accents
The border of the pendant is lined with small bright cut set diamonds all the way around, and these accent the various surfaces within the pendant as well. The center of the piece is a round diamond bezel set, and four marquise shapes extend out from this, each holding bright cut set diamond accents.
Between each of the marquise shapes, strands of metal extend and expand, forming vaguely floral shapes that also hold a number of bright cut set diamonds. Filigree scrolls curl out from the sides of the marquise diamonds, eventually curving back in to meet each other close to the perimeter of the pendant. And tucked into the space between the curves on each filigree set is a round bezel set diamond.
All of these are lined with milgrain beading, as are the filigree scrolls, and these details only enhance the vintage overtones of the design. 3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
