Pendant Design
The body of this pendant is in the shape of a thin rectangular frame. It’s attached to the chain by loops of metal that emerge from the top two corners, and that arrangement keeps it centered when worn. The sides are about one-third of the length of the top and bottom bars, and the top and two sides are polished to a high shine.
Smoky Quartz and Diamond Accents
Off to the right of center on the bottom bar, a 0.16 carat emerald cut smoky quartz is tension set lengthwise inline with the bar. It extends equally above and below the metal, and it’s accented on either side by small, round split prong set diamonds. Pendants
The quartz has a soft rosy color that contrasts beautifully with the brilliant white of the diamonds. The asymmetrical placement of the larger stone also enhances the contemporary styling of the design, and the way the shape of the quartz mirrors that of the pendant as a whole brings a nice balance to the piece.
This pendant is also available in rose or white gold, both of which create exciting new contrasting relationships within the piece. The rose gold is nearly the same color as the quartz, and so it greatly enhances the warm glow of the stone. The white gold, on the other hand, echoes the brilliant white of the diamonds, isolating the quartz more and creating a beautiful and striking look.

3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
