Pendant Design
This pendant is in shaped to resemble a stylized star, with four sides that each curve inward in the middle before stretching back out to meet in definitive points at the corners. It’s also oriented so that these corners point to the compass positions, and the chain meets the pendant just behind the topmost point.
The middle of the pendant is open, and this is where the center diamond sits. Although it’s not a large stone, the placement and design of the pendant around it ensure its exquisite sparkle is presented prominently for all to see.
Center Diamond and Accents
The center diamond in this piece is round brilliant cut and 0.10 carats. It’s prong set and these prongs line up with the points of the body of the pendant that surrounds the diamond. The open space around the stone ensures that plenty of light reaches it, helping to increase its beautiful sparkle.
On each of the pendant’s sides, 7 round diamonds are bright cut set, and these taper to fit in the space available. This leaves the largest in the center, with each diamond getting progressively smaller as they near the corners. These accents are a big part of what gives this piece such a glamorous flair, and they reinforce the brilliance of the diamond in the center as well.
