To begin a custom design project, you can reach out to us online or stop by our showroom in Bellevue, WA or Seattle, WA to talk with a member of our team. We'll learn as much as we can about the kind of piece you're interested in and what types of aesthetics appeal to you, and we'll use that information to develop an original design for you in CAD. You can view the proofs of these models through the online workroom we set up to manage your project, and we can also print out a wax model for you to examine in person before giving final approval to move your piece into production. 100% Satisfaction
London Blue Topaz
The centerpiece of this pendant is a 3.50 carat bezel set London blue topaz. The color contrast between the deep, complex blue-green of the topaz and the lovely pinkish glow of the metal helps highlight the beauty of both elements, and it adds to the vintage feel of the design overall. Pendants
Diamond Halo and Milgrain Beading
A double row of milgrain beading lines the bezel setting holding the larger stone, and beyond this, a scalloped halo of small, round diamonds completes the outer margin of the pendant body. There are 48 diamonds in this piece all together, and they combine to total 0.19 carats.
At the top of the halo, a slightly larger round diamond is bezel set, and this marks the spot of transition to the bale. Bright cut set diamonds run in a line up from this larger diamond, tapering slightly as they go, and both the bezel set and bright cut set diamonds in the bale are lined with milgrain beading also for some added vintage flair.
Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
