Diamond Center
At the center of this design, a 0.04 carat round diamond is bezel set within a small depression in the Tahitian pearl that makes up the body of the pendant. Despite its small size, the stone stands out thanks to the complementary silvery shine of the metal surrounding it, as well as the contrast with the darker colors of the rest of the pendant. The round stone also contrasts with the more angular shapes found in the rest of the piece, and it helps to reinforce the floral nature of the design by serving as an anchoring element. Pendants
Carved Pearl
A large, black Tahitian pearl forms the main body of the pendant, and it’s carved to expose the turquoise and diamond in the front. The back side of the pearl also features an arrangement of grooves that complements the design on the front nicely.
In the fronts, the surface of the pearl is carved away in three leaf-shaped sections surrounding the center pearl, and the dark sheen of the pearl adds a dynamic contrast to the overall design of the piece as well.
Turquoise Accents
Leaf-shaped turquoise sit within the carved-out leaf shapes on the front of the pearl, bringing a decidedly floral element to the design thanks to their striking green-blue color. These turquoise fill the spaces available perfectly, and their soft color helps the diamond they surround to stand out more dramatically as well.

3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
