Blue Sapphires
There are 11 blue sapphires in this piece, and they’re custom cut in a square shape that allows them to fit perfectly flush with each other within the shape of the pendant. All of these sapphires are channel set, lined up side by side in the shape of a cross, and surrounded by a thin frame of metal. Pendant Design
The body of the pendant is also in the shape of a cross, and it’s primarily hidden behind the sapphires, allowing them to stay front and center while it protects their backs and keeps them secure. The bale connects directly to the top of the cross through a loop of metal, and its smooth, slightly domed surface flows as a natural extension of the design without drawing attention away from the sapphires below.

For every custom design project we take on, we create a series of highly-detailed CAD proofs of the piece as well propose to make it, and you can provide feedback on these to make sure we have every detail just right. This phase of the process will continue until you give your final approval for us to move into production, and only then will we turn things over to our skilled artisans so that the actual fabrication of your piece can begin.

Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.

We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
