Center Sapphire and Diamond Accents
At the center of this pendant is a 6.08 carat oval blue sapphire. It’s held in place by four prongs, and various strands of metal extend from behind the main setting out to create the floral-themed body of the pendant.
Small round diamonds are bezel set at the ends of some of the shorter of these strands, and they form a loose frame around the large sapphire at the center. The diamonds add just enough sparkle to bring a bit of glamorous flair to the design, and their brilliant white color is the perfect complement to the rich blue of the larger stone.
Pendant Design
The pattern that emerges in the body of the pendant itself features the shapes of flower petals, leaves, and vines. This gives the piece a lovely vintage quality, while the sleek, polished strands evoke some contemporary themes as well.
The pendant connects to the chain through an open bale that extends off of the top of one of the leaf shapes, and its flowing, slightly asymmetrical shape allows it to blend perfectly into the rest of the piece.
