Butterfly Design
This pendant is made from 18k white gold, and it outlines the shape of a butterfly, with a solid piece in the middle forming the body, and the wings outlined to each side. Antennae also extend from the top of the body, angling out slightly towards the wings. The chain connects directly to the tips of the wings, eliminating the need for a bale and maintaining the focus squarely on the pendant itself. Pendants
Bezel Set Diamonds
There are six round diamonds in this piece, and they’re all bezel set in white gold. Each wing holds two, with one at the topmost point and another at the bottom. The two remaining attach directly to the top of the antennae, bringing a balance and definition to the design, along with their brilliant sparkle.

A piece like this can make a wonderful gift for any number of occasions, and it can also be modified to match an existing ring, earrings, or other piece of jewelry you currently own. In customizing it, you may want to only change the types of gemstones used, or you might want to use a different metal. Design and estimate
The initial design and estimate are free, with no obligation. Your designer discusses the materials, changes and budget with you before you commit.
3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
