Description
This lovely pendant is in the shape of a script N, and it features bright cut set diamond accents as well as a prong set aquamarine at the bottom. It was created for a client from Braintree, MA, who wanted a special gift for his wife and asked us to help him achieve his vision. Aquamarine
The largest gemstone in this piece is a 0.35 carat pear shaped aquamarine that dangles in a three prong setting from the tip of the N. Its delicate blue color contrasts just enough with the brilliant white of the diamonds above to make it really stand out. It’s also the birthstone for March, which brought additional personal significance to the piece.
Diamond Accents
There are 40 small, round bright cut set diamonds lining the N shape that makes up the body of the pendant. Although they only total 0.12 carats all together, they bring a wonderful sparkle to the piece, while also providing a perfect counterpoint to the larger aquamarine below.
Diamonds are a popular choice for all kinds of jewelry, as their brilliant sparkle and associations with romance are often the perfect addition to a design. The use of a bright cut setting for these accent stones helps to give this pendant a truly classical feel, but other setting options are available if you would like your piece to reflect a slightly different style.
Pendant Design
The pendant itself consists of the single N shape in a slightly whimsical script. The small curls at the ends of the letter give the piece a nice balance, and the way the chain attaches directly to the tops of the N help ensure that the letter remains the main focus of the design.

A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
