Description
This beautiful pendant features a round diamond prong set in the center of a diamond halo, with additional diamond accents on the bale. The design was developed for a client from Tukwila, WA, who coordinated with our team online and in person in our Bellevue, WA showroom to make sure all details of her pieces were just right. This pendant is part of a set that also includes matching earrings, but it works well as a standalone piece also.

Center Diamond and Halo
The diamond in the center of this pendant is a 0.50 carat round brilliant cut. Surrounding it is a halo made up of 15 smaller round diamonds, and these are shared prong set in order to minimize the amount of visible metal in the piece. The halo is slightly squared, but just rounded enough to complement the shape of the diamond while also building out the profile of the pendant itself.
Diamond Accents
The bale connecting the pendant to the chain is accented with three bright cut set diamonds, and these taper in size in order to accommodate the shape of the metal. There is also a single prong set diamond between the body of the pendant and the bale.
This last diamond was included to match the layout of the diamonds in the earrings that go with the pendant. Our client initially didn’t want the middle diamond, but after seeing models of the piece with and without it, she decided to include it to make a true set.

For a piece like this, some options include using a different type of gemstone to replace some or all of the diamonds. This is a great way to include a birthstone or favorite color, and it adds nice contrast to the piece. 3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.

- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
