Facet Split Prong Set Diamonds
There are 11 diamonds in this ring, and they combine to total 1.45 carats. Their brilliant sparkle dominates the design thanks in part to the size of the stones, as well as the choice of the faceted split prong setting. This setting style leaves very little metal showing on the top, and it also opens up the fronts of the ring to allow plenty of light in to reach the stones, helping to increase their sparkle.
When the ring is viewed straight on from the top down, the delicate tops of the split prongs minimize the intrusion of the metal surrounding the stones, leaving the focus solely on the diamonds themselves. On the ring fronts, however, a slightly more angular and intricate structure to the individual settings creates an intriguing contrast with the perfectly round cut of the diamonds. Band Design
The line of diamonds extends to just beyond the mid-point on the band, and below that, the surface of the ring is smooth, polished, and slightly domed. This provides a comfortable fit, and the straight line of the band makes it a good option to go with a variety of engagement ring styles.
It’s also stackable, which leaves open the possibility that you can add an anniversary band or other stackable ring to your set later on. If you’d like to see some more classical warmth in this design, you may choose to go with the yellow or rose gold variety, depending on your personal tastes.

Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
