Whether you’d like to modify this ring along with a new custom engagement ring or you’d like to personalize it to match an existing piece, we have the experience and technological tools to produce just the look you’re after. We’ll create detailed digital models of your design so that you can request modifications to ensure every detail is perfect. Only once you’ve given your explicit approval will we turn things over to our expert artisans to begin production.
Diamonds
There are 11 diamonds in this ring, and they’re all shared prong set in 18k white gold. Below the stones, a basket design is visible on the ring fronts, and that’s what gives the setting style its name. Additionally, it brings a bit of intricacy to the otherwise minimalist design, while the use of the shared prong setting allows the diamonds to sit quite close to each other along the top surface of the ring. Customization Options
The diamonds in this piece cover about one-third of the total surface of the band. This is something you could modify as part of the customization process, however, by extending the line of diamonds to the mid-point on each side or even all the way around the ring. You could also choose a different type of gemstone to replace some or all of the diamonds, or you could decide to go with larger or smaller stones depending on the aesthetics you prefer.
Switching to another setting style is worth considering as well, as split prong, French cut set and bright cut set are all available options. Alternately, using a different type of metal could bring some warmth and contrast to the design, helping to reinforce the classical themes already present.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
