Center Setting
At the center of this ring, a round brilliant cut diamond is cradled in a four prong white gold setting that emerges as an extension of the criss-cross band below. The client’s initial inspiration for this transition was the image of ivy wrapping around the diamond, and we used this to produce just the kind of setting he was looking for.
The prongs of the main setting meet the diamond at the compass positions on top, which is a detail that also flows nicely with the fluid design of the band. Below, the strands that combine to form the prongs cross over each other, staying close to the stone as they do so to create the impression that they are really growing around it. Diamond Accents
Just outside the criss-crossing strands on each shank shoulder, two marquise diamonds are prong set, with their points nearly inline with the band. They angle outward slightly at the top to follow the transition into the main setting, and they nestle perfectly into the curves of the companion wedding band. Matching Wedding Sets
The two strands that cross back and forth over each other on the way up the sides of the shank never separate enough to leave open space between them. To highlight their elegant movement, however, a line of shared prong set diamond accents runs up one of them, beginning at about the mid-point on each side. This is a detail that’s echoed in the companion wedding band as well with a slight variation in placement, and it contributes to the truly stunning display the two rings create when worn together.

Customizing This Design
Any Joseph Jewelry item can be customized or used as the starting point for a new custom design. The gemstones, metal, proportions, setting style, surface details, and overall profile can be adjusted to better match your preferences, style, and budget.
Every custom piece begins with a conversation about what you want to create and what matters most to you. You work one-on-one with a designer to refine the concept, review the design direction, and create a detailed 3D CAD image of the item before it is made.
After the design is approved, we can create a wax model so you can review the piece physically. This step helps you evaluate scale, proportions, shape, and overall presence before final production begins.
Once the wax model is approved, our jewelers craft the finished piece with attention to structure, finish, stone security, and long-term wear. Each adjustment is reviewed carefully so the final item feels intentional, balanced, and made specifically for you.
You do not need to have every detail figured out before starting. If you like this item but want to change the stone, metal, size, shape, width, engraving, or overall style, we can guide those decisions through the custom design process.
Quality & Craftsmanship
At Joseph Jewelry, quality begins with the structure. We follow strict design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support, setting security, and long-term durability. These details help ensure the item is substantial enough for everyday wear while still maintaining a refined appearance.
We do not design custom jewelry to be unnecessarily thin or fragile. If a setting, band, gallery, or accent detail needs more support, we address it before production begins. The goal is to protect the stones, preserve the shape of the ring, and create a piece that can be worn confidently over time.
Gemstone selection is also part of our quality process. We help choose the center stone, side stones, and melee diamonds used in each ring, reviewing them for cut, color, clarity, consistency, and how well they fit the design. Even when a ring is designed around a specific budget, we maintain careful standards for the materials and craftsmanship that determine the quality of the finished piece.
Before completion, each custom piece is reviewed for proportion, comfort, stone security, finishing, and long-term wear.
Care & Warranty
All Joseph Jewelry custom pieces are supported by our lifetime warranty. We also provide long-term care, including complimentary cleaning and regular inspection, so your jewelry can be maintained properly over time.
Routine inspection is especially valuable for pieces worn every day. It allows the setting, stones, and overall structure to be checked as the jewelry is worn.
