They came into our Bellevue, WA showroom in person to share their ideas and inspiration for their set, and we worked closely with them in person and through the online workroom we set up to manage their project to finalize the details of the rings. All of the diamonds used in all three rings were provided by the clients and had belonged to their relative. Creating this custom set was a tribute to her, and including her diamonds made the rings that much more meaningful and personally significant.
Diamonds and Milgrain
There are six diamonds in this ring, and they combine to total 0.26 carats. All of the diamonds are round, and they’re bright cut set in 14k white gold, each within its own marquise-shaped section. These sections, in turn, are lined up tip-to-tip and angled about 45 degrees so that they meet their neighbors on alternating sides of the band.
This pattern continues across the top half of the ring, adding a sense of delicacy and a nice balance to the design. For an extra bit of vintage flair, the marquise sections are framed by rows of milgrain beading that adds definition and a finished look. Women’s Wedding Rings Seattle
Custom Ring Sets
For the clients, the significance of these rings was greatly heightened by the fact that they were built around their mother’s diamonds. Using family gemstones to create a set like this is a wonderful way to develop truly unique designs that also have special meaning for you.
