Jewelry Repair and Restoration
Our Bellevue location also offers jewelry repair and restoration services. We help with ring sizing, refinishing, engraving restoration, stone replacement, prong work, rhodium plating, chain repair, and other fine jewelry repairs. For older or sentimental pieces, we focus on preserving the character of the jewelry while restoring security and wearability where needed.

I came across Joseph Jewelry on accident. I had received a beautiful diamond engagement ring from a luxury jeweler, but in my heart of hearts I knew I wanted an emerald - not a diamond. So, I went back in and inquired about having a ring made and the sales associate told me that they would not use the heirloom gemstones that have been in my family for years, that they would only bring in their own emeralds, but that they didn't even really like using emeralds in the first place. I understand not wanting to utilize outside stones, because you can't control the quality associated with the name, but I was so frustrated with the attitude of the associate that I have literally stopped wearing the ring that was purchased there and of course I can't return it. And here began my hunt for a custom jeweler... I found Joseph through yelp and was struck by how many positive reviews they had acquired, so I went online to check them out. I started an account and started compiling pictures of what I wanted. Within 24 hours someone (Joseph or Danny) called me up and discussed what I wanted, and then told me to come into the store to see some of there settings. To make the story shorter, I'll paraphrase: Essentially I went into the store, explained that i would at some point like to utilize the heirloom gemstones I had, but would like to create an emerald ring in the meantime to wear so I can see how the emerald fairs as an engagement ring. The found the large cushion cut emerald I wanted, and purchased it for me to look it with no guarantee that I was going to use it, they created a 3-D rendering of the ring, and customized the setting to my semi-neurotic liking. When I finally received the ring (earlier than I was quoted and before I left on an extended vacation) it took my breath away. It was spectacular!!!! I get compliments on it constantly and truly although the goal was for me to use the heirloom stones later I am so in love with this ring that I may never change it!!!
