Blue Topaz and Diamonds
There are 18 blue topaz in this piece, all of which are marquise cut and prong set. The prongs holding the topaz curl up over their corners, and the stones are arranged in a line with their corners pointing towards each other. Between each pair of corners, a small white diamond is bezel set, and there are 18 of these as well.
The diamonds are much smaller than the topaz, but their brilliant white sparkle stands out nonetheless, adding just the right amount of contrast to highlight the delicate blue of the larger stones. All together, the diamonds in this piece total 0.13 carats, while the topaz combine to weigh 7.46 carats. Bellevue Location
Milgrain Beading and Customization Options
The bezel settings of the diamonds, as well as the gallery rail in the topaz settings, are all lined with milgrain beading, which adds some vintage flair to the design. Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.

For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
