Diamonds and Sapphires

There are 17 small, round diamonds and 17 larger oval blue sapphires in this piece, and both types of stones are set in 14k white gold. The sapphires combined total 7.65 carats, and the bezel settings holding them in place nicely accentuate the elegant lines of their cut.

Between each of these bezel settings, a marquise-shaped section of metal holds a single bright cut set diamond, with all of these diamonds combined totaling 0.13 carats. However, the dramatic size difference between the stones doesn't make either less important when it comes to creating the overall look of the piece.
