Description
This elegant engagement ring features a marquise shaped diamond bezel set in an organic white gold band, with pear shaped diamond accents. It was created for a client from Ravensdale, WA, who visited us in person in our Bellevue, WA showroom to get the custom design process started. The client drew their ideas for the piece, on paper, and we translated that into a CAD model that they then approved so we could move into production.

Three-stone Setting
The main diamond in this ring is a 0.70 carat marquise shaped diamond bezel set at an angle between two wrapped pieces of the 14k white gold unique shank. A pear shaped diamond sits on either side of this center stone, and these are bezel set as well in keeping with the organic themes of the piece. Diamond Engagement Rings
Organic Band
The organic curves and twists of the band as it splits and opens up to transition into the main setting are reminiscent of leaves and vines. This reference to nature is reinforced by the leaf-like shapes of the stones, as well as by the two small leaves hand-engraved next to the main diamond, and all of these features work together to create a balanced, unified design.

If you live locally, you can always visit us in person as our client did, or you’re free to contact us online to share your initial ideas.
On our website, you’ll find a ring builder tool, which you can use to begin to pick out the types of features and gemstones you’d like your ring to include. This is a good place to start if you’re not terribly familiar with the terms used to describe fine jewelry, as you can view examples of the different elements you’ll need to pick out.
Or if you’ve been looking around for a while and have found some pieces you like, you can share those with us and let us know what in particular you like about each. We’ll then combine the features you select into a unique design that you can view as a highly-detailed CAD image. At this point, you can request as many revisions as you’d like until you’re completely satisfied that we’ve perfectly captured your vision, and only then will we move your piece into production. Design and estimate
The initial design and estimate are free, with no obligation. Your designer discusses the materials, changes and budget with you before you commit.
3D design review
After you accept the estimate and make a down payment, we create a 3D CAD model and rendered views. Revisions within the initial design parameters are included; changes to materials or their amounts are re-estimated.
Physical model
A full-size wax model can be made to review scale, shape and proportions before production. It can be viewed in a showroom or shipped to you.
Approval and production
The design is approved before production begins. Your designer confirms the schedule, and our jewelers make, set and finish the piece.
Quality
Our custom jewelry follows design and construction standards for metal thickness, weight, stone support and setting security.
- Structure and support
- The setting must have enough metal to support the stones and hold its shape through everyday wear. If an area needs more support, we address it before production.
- Diamond and gemstone selection
- We help you choose stones for your custom design, reviewing cut, color, clarity, consistency and fit. Your budget guides these choices; our standards for materials and craftsmanship remain the same.
- Final inspection
- Before completion, we review each custom piece for proportion, comfort, stone security and finish.
Lifetime warranty and care
- Lifetime warrantyYour custom piece is covered against manufacturing defects.
- Inspection every six monthsOur jewelers inspect your piece and provide ongoing care for the custom jewelry we make for you.
- Complimentary cleaningVisit us every six months for a complimentary cleaning.
Coverage conditions
For Joseph Jewelry custom pieces, coverage begins with your signature. To keep it active, Joseph Jewelry must inspect and sign for your piece every six months and perform recommended repairs and maintenance.
Repairs due to normal wear and tear are the owner's responsibility. Damage, abuse or alterations can void coverage. Customers outside Washington pay shipping both ways for inspections or repairs, plus applicable duty or customs fees.
